Housing Assistance

Individuals seeking housing assistance or looking to secure a place to live are encouraged to contact Monarch Property Management to inquire about current housing availability. Their staff may provide information regarding available units, eligibility requirements, leasing procedures, and other housing-related opportunities that may meet individual needs.

Experiencing Homelessness

Individuals who are currently experiencing homelessness or who may be at risk of homelessness are encouraged to contact 211 Infoline for additional support and community-based resources. 211 Infoline offers access to emergency shelter information, housing support services, food resources, mental health services, and other essential assistance programs available throughout Connecticut. Support is available 24 hours a day by dialing 2-1-1.

Food

Chrysalis Center operates the Freshplace Food Pantry, an innovative, case management-based food pantry designed to support individuals and families experiencing food insecurity. Freshplace is available by application only and provides participants with access to fresh and nutritious food while also connecting them with supportive services aimed at promoting long-term stability and self-sufficiency. Socialization

Chrysalis Center offers REC Program socialization services designed to support individuals in building meaningful connections, enhancing social skills, and increasing community engagement in a safe and supportive environment. Participation in the program is available by application only and requires a referral from a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), physician, therapist, or other qualified behavioral health professional. The program is intended to provide participants with opportunities for positive social interaction, personal growth, and community involvement.

Domestic Violance

Individuals experiencing domestic violence or unsafe living conditions are encouraged to seek assistance immediately. Chrysalis Center supports connecting individuals and families with safe shelter, advocacy, and supportive services. Security Deposits & Rental Assistance

Individuals in need of rental assistance or help with security deposits may qualify for housing support programs through Community Renewal Team (CRT). CRT provides a variety of housing stabilization services and financial assistance programs designed to help individuals and families maintain or secure safe and stable housing.

Case Management

Chrysalis Center provides comprehensive case management services designed to support individuals and families in achieving stability, independence, and overall well-being. Case managers work collaboratively with participants to identify individual needs, establish goals, and connect them with community resources and supportive services, including housing assistance, mental health support, employment services, healthcare resources, food assistance, and benefits navigation. Through individualized support and ongoing guidance, Chrysalis Center helps participants work toward long-term self-sufficiency and improved quality of life.

Substance Use Recovery

Chrysalis Center operates the Wingate Recovery Home, a supportive recovery residence located on the Chrysalis Center campus. Wingate Recovery Home provides a safe, structured, and recovery-focused environment for individuals working toward sobriety and long-term wellness. The program offers supportive services, individualized recovery planning, case management, and connections to community resources designed to help residents build stability, strengthen life skills, and support successful recovery outcomes.
