Non Monetary Gifts

In-Kind Donations and FAQ

Contributions of in-kind gifts are a significant way to support Chrysalis Center. We welcome and are very appreciative of your support which helps assist our clients and families.

What does in-kind mean?

Any donation which is non-monetary is considered in-kind. This includes the following: toys, household items, holiday gifts, etc.  These types of contributions allow us to reduce our program expenses by utilizing these donated items instead of using funds to buy items.

COVID-19 Food & Critical Needs:

Due to the COVID-19 pandemic our needs are greater than ever, as we keep our clients and families safe, fed and housed during this time of unprecedented crisis. Please consider donating non-perishable items most in need:

Canned Goods (soup, tuna fish, canned chicken vegetables, fruit)
Pasta & Pasta Sauce
Healthy Cereal (Hot/Cold)
Peanut Butter & Jelly
Feminine Hygiene Products
Cleaning Products
Paper Products (toilet paper, paper towels)
Toiletry Items (soap, shampoo, deodorant, toothpaste, toothbrushes)

Deliveries can be sent to: Chrysalis Center, 255 Homestead Ave, Hartford, CT 06112 or drop off M-F 9am-3pm.
Please call ahead at 860-263-4400 to let us know what time you are dropping off, so we can make arrangements to meet you outside.

We have also created Amazon “wish lists” for contactless delivery (see below).

THANK YOU in advance for your wonderful support!
