La Cocina Catering and TCC is a proud part of the Food Hub at the Chrysalis Center, a collection of programs dedicated to addressing food insecurity in our community. La Cocina Culinary Arts Training Program provides hands-on job training for individuals pursuing careers in the culinary and hospitality industries. Fresh produce grown in our Urban Roots Hydroponics Grow Center and gardens allows participants the ability to prepare wholesome meals that serve and nourish the community.

Chrysalis Center is a private, nonprofit, and socially innovative multi-service organization based in Hartford, Connecticut that is dedicated to supporting individuals and families across Connecticut. Chrysalis serves those facing poverty, veterans, women and children, young adults, and people dealing with mental health challenges, addiction, HIV/AIDS, homelessness, or reentry after incarceration.
